Built for everyday bookkeeping
From the first photo to the final ledger entry, keep the original document and the decisions that matter together.
Take a receipt photo with your phone’s camera or choose existing files. Upload JPG, PNG or PDF receipts—up to 20 files at once, with a 10 MB limit per file.
Uploads are saved privately without starting a scan. Find each receipt in a paginated table, see its status, and press Process when you are ready.
See the receipt alongside the extracted supplier, date, gross amount and VAT. Correct the fields and save your changes before posting.
Connect one BooksClvr or MTDClvr client domain using its receipt connection token. Account heads and available banks refresh when you open the review page.
Select the expense account and, where supported, the bank it was paid from. The approved receipt posts to the connected app’s expense and ledger records.
Posted receipts retain their destination and posting references. If a transfer needs retrying, the same transfer identifier helps prevent duplicate entries.
One workflow. Any screen.
Upload on the move, then review later on a tablet or desktop with the receipt and details side by side. Prefer finishing on your phone? Scanning, account selection and posting are available there too.
Before you begin
The scanner connects to BooksClvr and MTDClvr apps with the receipt API enabled. Get a connection token from Settings in your client app, then enter it with the client domain in the scanner’s Settings.
No. Uploading saves your files. You select each receipt to scan, review its details, choose the accounts and explicitly post it. Use one receipt per file.
Account heads and available banks refresh automatically when you open a receipt review page. If the connection token expires or is revoked, update it in Settings.
You can add a passkey in Settings and use your device’s supported authentication, including Face ID or Touch ID. Passkeys require HTTPS and a supported browser. Password sign-in stays available.
A clear path from capture to your books.
